NOTE - UPDATE: I am still here, but where did my socials go? Unfortunately in December I was the victim of Facebooks AI disabling my personal account and all linked business accounts by mistake. Despite my best efforts, there is no way to have this undone, so all my contacts, 10 years of hard work, 30k followers, memories etc are lost forever. Another issue is once an account is disabled you cannot remake that account with the same details, it will pick up on it and block that account. It is all rather unfair really and was devastating at the time.
So, I am relying on my website for now and am looking at rebranding maybe later in the year. In the mean time my focus is prioritising my kids, my youngest was diagnosed with autism late last year and I am currently advocating and doing what I can to get him the support he needs to thrive, so naturally I have allowed business to slow down. Hi! I am Michelle, a solo mum to two wonderful little boys. Photography has always been a hobby of mine, and since my first son relit my passion for photography it has become a career.
I have always loved photographing the small details we take for granted in our every day lives. After seeing the photos I took of my newborn son, some of my family said "you should be a professional photographer". That seed was planted during Christmas 2013, and soon after I went for it!
And here we are, I now have a photography business in picturesque Blenheim, New Zealand. Mezmerize Photography was created to capture you and your loved ones in beautiful images that reflect who you are. Add a dash of creative direction from me, and there you have it, portraiture to be cherished for years to come.
My heart swells every time I create a photo that I know my client will love. I’m here to capture a child’s unique personality, a look of mutual adoration, or a reflective thought. I love knowing that once something has been photographed, it will never be forgotten. So please, look around and enjoy my work.
